THE START OF LONG LEAVE

It was a last minute decision for me to clear my leave. Without me realizing, it’s going to be a long leave as initially I only applied for 1 day.

One of the reasons why both of us took leave was to have Adriana at home with us. We know that both my mum and mum in law will be busy with the spring cleaning and cooking. They are the elderly and expect more guests to come to their house rather than us therefore they need the time to do the preparation. Secondly was to see if there is any final preparation and grabs. House been cleaned and scrubbed, furniture wiped and arranged, curtains up and cookies arranged in containers. I'm left to collect our outfits and to buy Adriana's shoes tomorrow. Also the final round of cleaning and last minute touch up. Even our Chevy is in the festive mood, it's send for servicing today and going to have a good wash on the eve. Everything is much in place now and maybe we will look around for any good bargains. Till then, countdown to the day!
