RAYA SPIRIT


The man is still away for his reservist. This made me realize the importance of him around. With his presence, the babe completely ignored me. Therefore I had the whole time to myself, lazing around, reading magazines, surfing the net and watching TV. She's a daddy's gal, remember. Since the man is away, so the babe has been clinging on me. To the bride to be, I'm sorry that I have to give your hen party a miss.


Planning for the raya outing can be a headache, considering completing both sides of the family and organizing the routes. We skipped some houses last year because I was heavily pregnant. Come to think of it, might be due to the massive consumption of food and assorted drinks and endless of walking and visiting that made my babe came out way earlier than expected! But this year, we have no excuse and we will try as much as possible to visit the elderly. On top of that, this occasion is a nice for us to introduce our babe to the cousins, aunties and uncles, grandaunts and granduncles who some last saw her during her cukur rambut! How amusing my mum in law introduce us to the distant relatives and old neighbours as, "Ini lah yang sikit hari kawin!" Yup, we are still known as the newly wed couple even though our babe is turning 1 pretty soon!
